Sign in with the account you want to remove.
The Settings screen is reachable from the gear icon at the top of your profile tab.
Read the short confirmation notice and type your password (or complete the verification code) to prove it's you.
A 7-day grace window starts. If you change your mind, just log back in within those 7 days and the request is cancelled.
Once the grace window closes, we send a final email to the address tied to the account. That's your receipt that the data is gone.
Send a note to pekingeselol302@gmail.com from the address tied to the account. Subject line: "Delete my Jovo account".
Include the nickname shown on your Jovo profile, the phone or email used at sign-up, and the approximate date you joined.
A human will verify the request and reply from the same safety inbox.
Once we run the deletion job, we email you a confirmation. Data in primary systems is gone within 30 days; encrypted backups roll off within 90.
Day 0 — your account is hidden from search, matching, and live rooms immediately after the confirmation step.
Days 1–7 — grace window. Signing in once during this window cancels the deletion.
Day 8 — deletion runs. Primary production databases begin erasing your records.
Day 30 — all primary systems confirm the erasure.
Day 90 — encrypted backups finish their normal rotation, at which point no copy of your data remains in our environment.
Can I download a copy of my data first? Yes. Inside the same Settings → Account screen you'll find Request my data. We email you an export within 14 days; keep a copy before hitting delete if you want it.
What happens to unfinished purchases? Active subscriptions are cancelled for the next renewal but stay live until the end of the current billing period. Refund eligibility follows the rules of the app store you bought through.
Can I reopen the same account later? No. After deletion the nickname, profile, and history are gone for good. You're welcome to start fresh with a new account.
I lost access to the sign-up email. What now? Use Path B above. In the email, explain the situation and include any alternative verification details — we will work with you to confirm ownership before erasing anything.
Email us and we'll guide you through whichever path works best for your situation.
